 Aluminium Test Plugs are specifically designed for heavy duty applications and are suitable for arduous duties such as immersion in chemicals and/or exposure to higher temperatures.

A variety of rubber sealing rings are available including natural rubber, silicone, nitrile, neoprene, viton and a friction free washer to ease tightening of the wingnut is a standard feature.                    All Plugs conform to British Standards BS8005 and BS EN752-4 for low pressure testing and sealing of pipes.

Plumbing operations throughout the whole of industry, domestic and industrial water, sewage and drainage systems. Ducting and conduit, swimming pools, masking in painting and casting industries, as leak test plugs for all pipework fabrications and many others.

Aluminium Test Plugs and Stoppers can be used as Drain Test Plugs, Sewerage Test Plugs, Waste Test Plugs, Scupper Plugs, Plumbing, Welding Purge Plugs and many more applications.

Aluminium Drain Test Plugs are also used to seal and protect tanks, vessels and containers during transportation, particularly when they are pressurised with inert gas.

Aluminium Test Plugs and Stoppers are suitable for leak testing, isolation, sealing, stopping and even for the purging of pipework in size range 1.5 to 36" (38 to 900 mm).Outlets on the Plugs (for gas or liquid connections):                              

Plug Diameters up to 6" (152* mm)

• 0.5 BSP (13 mm) diameter outlet               

Plug Diameters 6 to 18" (152* to 457 mm)

• 1" BSP (25 mm) diameter outlet

Plug Diameters 20" (508 mm) upwards

• 2" BSP (51 mm) diameter outlet

(* The 6" (150 mm) Plug comes with a 0.5" (12 mm) or a 1" (25 mm) Outlet for your preference).

The standard seals are made from natural rubber. Other available options are silicone, nitrile, neoprene and viton.
